Welcome to the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor resource page.  I created this page as a personal resource for managing my reference library.  It extensively documents current literature about PPARa, its related receptors, and a number of other topics.  Click on a topic to the left to reveal more menu choices. References are listed separately under each topic. Please read the disclaimer above before using this reference. As I no longer work on nuclear receptors, this page has not been updated since 2003.

Why did I make this site?  I began collecting references on PPARs while working toward my PhD.  After I published my papers, I thought it would be helpful to provide this outline on the internet. I stopped working on nuclear receptors in 2004, when I began my post-doctoral work with Dr. Jeffrey Laskin at Rutgers. My current interests are vesicating agents and the mechanisms of insulin secretion from beta cells.
